01Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sabri, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app — it's that simple. If you're using Sabri on behalf of someone else (a family member, an organisation), you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for them.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

02The service

Sabri is an Islamic companion application offering prayer-time calculations, Qur'an reading and audio recitation, a Qibla compass, dhikr counter, daily Islamic content, an AI companion ("Noor"), and related features. We continuously improve the Service and may add, remove, or modify features at our discretion.

03Your account

You may use much of Sabri without an account. Premium features, sync, and family sharing require one. You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity on your account.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing us. We honour deletion requests within 30 days, retaining only what we're legally required to keep (e.g. tax records for past purchases).

04Subscriptions & billing

Sabri Premium is offered as monthly, annual, and lifetime plans. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not pro-rate the current term.

Free trial

If we offer a free trial, you'll be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Price changes

We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll notify you in-app at least 30 days before any change takes effect, and your continued subscription is your acceptance of the new price.

05Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't process refunds directly, but we're happy to advocate for you if Apple needs context — write to us.

06Noor — AI guidance

By using Noor you acknowledge:

• Noor's answers are generated content, not authoritative rulings.
• Noor may produce citations that look plausible but should be independently verified.
• You will not rely on Noor for emergencies, medical, legal, or financial decisions.
• You will not use Noor to promote hatred, violence, or content contrary to Islamic ethics.

07Islamic content disclaimer

Sabri presents Islamic content (Qur'an, hadith, du'a, translations, calculation methods, calendar conversions) sourced from reputable scholarly works. Reasonable scholars may differ. The presence of one method or translation in Sabri is not an endorsement against another. Where we can, we let you choose.

Translations are aids to understanding, not equivalents to the Arabic. Hadith are presented with their classical attributions; you should consult qualified scholarship for nuance.

08User conduct

When using Sabri, you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
• Misrepresent Islamic teachings or use Sabri to promote sectarian hatred.
• Scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content or APIs.
• Bypass paywalls, rate limits, or access controls.

09Intellectual property

Sabri's design, code, original content, and trademarks are owned by Sabri Labs. The Qur'anic text is public, sacred, and belongs to no one. Translations, recitations, and tafsir are licensed from their respective rights holders; you may use them within the app but may not redistribute them.

10Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using Sabri at any time by deleting the app and, if applicable, your account.

11Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sabri Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Sabri is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly precise.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Doha, Qatar, unless local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
